Report Retaliation

Retaliation occurs when an employer punishes an employee for engaging in protected activity. To present a claim of retaliation, you must meet the following criteria:

  1. You engaged in protected activity.
  2. You were subjected to an adverse employment action.
  3. The adverse employment action occurred because you engaged in the protected activity.

Language Access

It is the policy of the California Office of the Inspector General (OIG) to provide service in the language of our customers.
